TYPICAL FOODS, BOOKS AND HOWTH.

This Wednesday has been a really complete day. In the morning we had an Hiberno-English Workshop with our tutor Anne Mary and then, an interview to Miriam Boylan who is a Home Economy Teacher at a Secondary School in Dublin. She told about typical Irish dishes and Irish food habits.  I liked this session because it was relaxed and besides, we were able to interact and engage a lot
After lunch we went to Pearse Street Library and we had meeting with Liz Cuddy the responsible of the project: One City  One Book. Then we visitied Howth a beautiful and pleasant place in the afternoon.

Lizz Cuddy is the "One City, One Book” project’s coordinator. We have met her in Pearse Public Library, the place where she works.

Then we have taken a train to Howth.  Howth is a beautiful place in the west coast of Ireland to 20 minutes from Dublin. We had dinner there typical Irish dishes like Fish and Chips or Irish fish Pie.
