EDUCATION IN ESTONIA

19th/03/2015 NEW CHALLENGE: TALLIN

Thursday 19th was our last day in Helsinki. We had an intersting conference about 'The New Way of (ICT) In-service Training'

During the conference

Then we said good-by to Tikkurila Lukio Upper Secondary School

              
                       And we left Finland in a big Ferry

 Before 2 hours and half, the beautiful TALLIN (Estonia)

 20th/03/2015 ESTONIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM: A DIFFERENT STATE SCHOOL

We visited a state school located in the city centre. This school is in the Top Ten Estonian schools. It's a 'special' state school because the management team can select the students. Every year, students who want  to enter school have to  pass a difficult exam. Their results in PISA are really good, of course!

We could observe different classes of diferenes levels and different subjects

And, obviously, we talked about education

In the afternoon, we visited Tallinn University and attended a lecture about 
Education in Estonia

Nice chairs, right?

At the end, we only had one free hour to go sightseeing. What a pity!
